Bihar School Examination Board has released the Bihar Board Exam Datesheet 2026. The timetable for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations in the state has been released.
As per the official exam timetable, the Class 10 or Matric exam will begin on February 17 and will end on February 25, 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts- first shift from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm and second shift from 2 pm to 5.15 pm.
The Class 10 exam will commence with Mother tongue paper and conclude with Vocational elective papers.
The Class 12 board examination or Intermediate exam in the state will begin on February 2 and will end on February 13, 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts- first shift from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm and second shift from 2 pm to 5.15 pm.
The Intermediate exam will begin with Biology and Economics papers and conclude with language papers and Vocational subjects.
The Bihar Board exam timetable was released by BSEB Chairman, Anand Kishore.
This year the exam for Class 12 commenced on February 1 and concluded on February 15, 2025 and Class 10 exam commenced on February 17 and concluded on February 25, 2025. The practical exam was held from January 10 to January 20, 2025.
The Class 10 result was announced on March 29 and the Class 12 result was announced on March 25, 2025. A total of 15,58,077 students (8,05,392 girls and 7,52,685 boys) appeared for the Bihar board Matric examination. Around 12.92 lakh students were eligible to appear for the Inter examination. Out of the total number of candidates, 6,41,847 are girls, and 6,50,466 are boys.
