Oppo K14 Plus launched in India, becoming the fourth member in the brand’s K lineup. This is a mid-range smartphone that ships with a large battery, fast display, and crisp camera. The new device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX chipset and features a vapour chamber cooling system. It will be available in two colourways and will go on sale from October 8 via Flipkart as part of Flipkart Big Billion Day sale, offering an attractive discount.
Oppo K14 Plus specs and features
The Oppo K14 Plus features a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and supports up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness. The display supports an adaptive refresh rate that can switch between 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz and 144Hz depending on the content.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX chipset. It uses an octa-core setup with four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.5GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores running at up to 2.0GHz, paired with an Arm Mali-G615 GPU.
The phone comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, while the 8GB RAM variants. Oppo says the K14 Plus has scored more than 1 million on AnTuTu. For cooling, it gets a 5,000mm vapour chamber and a 19,989mm graphite sheet.
For photography, the Oppo K14 Plus gets a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with autofocus and optical image stabilisation (OIS). It sits alongside a 2-megapixel Bokeh camera. The rear camera can record videos in 4K and also supports 4K Ultra-Steady video in supported scenarios. On the front, the phone has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX480 camera for selfies and video calls.
The battery is another major highlight of the K14 Plus. It packs an 8,000mAh battery and supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging. Oppo claims the phone can offer up to 12.64 hours of BGMI gameplay at 60fps, while mixed usage is rated at around 2.95 days under the company’s testing conditions. The battery is also designed to retain at least 80 per cent of its capacity after 1,800 full charging cycles.
The smartphone runs ColorOS 16 and comes with several AI-powered features. It also gets a 360-degree Armour Body and IP69K, IP69, IP68 and IP66 ratings for protection against water and dust. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone weighs around 207g.
Oppo K14 Plus price and availability
The Oppo K14 Plus starts at Rs 29,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs Rs 32,999, while the top-end 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 35,999.
The smartphone will be available in two colour options, Solar Orange and Star White. It will go on sale in India from October 8 at 12AM through Flipkart and the Oppo India e-store.
As part of the launch offers, buyers can get an instant Rs 4,000 discount with leading bank cards on the first day of the sale. There is also a six-month no-cost EMI option. After the bank discount, the effective prices of the three variants come down to Rs 25,999, Rs 28,999 and Rs 31,999, respectively.
