Sridevi was not just a legendary star who was loved by millions of fans across the globe but also a doting mother to Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor and she had a beautiful way of showing it. On her birth anniversary, Janhvi and Khushi went all out to remember their Mumma in an endearing way. Both of Sridevi’s daughters recalled precious moments with their mom and shared heartwarming photos on social media as they paid a tribute to their late mother.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Janhvi travelled back in time to share a childhood photo with her late mom Sridevi. In the endearing photo, Sridevi could be seen holding to her little girl Janhvi. Janhvi as a little girl was in awe of her mom in the photo. Sharing it, Janhvi wrote, “Happy birthday Mumma i miss you more and more everyday. I love u forever.” Khushi Kapoor, on the hand, took to social media to share a photo in which she is seen with her late mom Sridevi.
Khushi can be seen getting a kiss from her mom in the endearing photo from the good old day. The two Kapoor sisters remembered their mom in a heartwarming way on her special day.
Janhvi Kapoor on Sridevi being the first true-blue pan India superstars
In a recent chat with NDTV GoodTimes, Janhvi Kapoor had spoken at length about how her mom Sridevi was a pan-Indian superstar back in the day. She also recalled how her mom was sensitive on the sets while shooting and referred to her as an ‘anomaly.’ Janhvi said, “Through her films, the person that she was, seeing her on sets and the kind of sensitivity that she brought, I think that can never happen twice. She is an anomaly. What she has given to our country and to the world, through her artistry, is unparalleled and I think it happens only once in a blue moon.”
Sridevi breathed her last in February 2018 in Dubai. Her sudden and tragic death due to accidental drowning shocked the world and left her family members heartbroken.
