The 52-year-old wellness health coach and yoga instructor is gaining attention after her TikTok and Instagram content struck a chord with millions, proving that style has no expiration date.

Her March 30 Instagram video, which has already amassed over one million views, featured a clever ‘expectation vs reality’ transition. It began with Ranjana dressed in what she describes as ‘how people expect a 52-year-old to dress’ — a simple, modest blue-and-white top paired with loose-fitting blue denim.
However, with a quick beat drop, the scene shifted to her ‘actual’ style: a vibrant, form-fitting blue mini-dress paired with knee-high brown boots, radiating confidence and joy. She wrote in her caption, “My video just went viral on TikTok! So fun!! (It) was about turning a not so happy day into a TikTok story! And learning to live life, having fun, happily!”

‘Why should kings have all the fun?’
Ranjana, who was born in Sikkim, India, and currently resides in Cambodia, attributed her outlook to a late-blooming sense of liberation. Speaking to HT Lifestyle, she reflected on her journey toward self-assurance.
“I became who I am now after I finished my masters in women’s studies and married my second husband, my biggest cheerleader. I got wings,” Ranjana shared. “What education and an enabling environment can do to a woman happened to me,” she added.
She further highlighted that her age is a badge of honour rather than a limitation. “I am not shy of my age — I am the happiest as a 52-year-old sincerely cause I am confident, content and happy in my life,” she said.
When it came to her wardrobe choices, which often include slits, shorts, and bold silhouettes, her philosophy was simple: “As long as I am comfortable, I do and wear and live the way I want… people ask why, I answer why not!”
A refreshing defiance of the ‘rules’
A scroll through Ranjana’s Instagram revealed a vibrant digital diary filled with sunshine and ‘queen-size’ living.
