Renowned comedian Kapil Sharma indirectly replied to filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri’s claims of the latter not getting an invite to the former’s popular show – The Kapil Sharma Show.
New Delhi: Comedian Kapil Sharma has reacted to claims of him not inviting filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri and cast members of his upcoming film ‘The Kashmir Files’ on
his show as there weren’t any ‘big celebrities’ in the film.
Kapil, on Thursday, took to Twitter to reply to a fan who had said he will boycott the comedian’s show days after filmmaker Vivek claimed that he wasn’t invited to the comedy show.
The fan had tweeted, “#KashmirFiles ko promote karne se kyu ghabra gaye Kapil? Kis baat ka dar tha jo #VivekRanjanAgnihotri aur unki film ki suprasiddh starcast ko
apne show par aane ka nyota nahi dia? I used to be a big fan of yours bro, but you have disappointed me and millions of #TKSS fans. Boycotting U.”
Calmingly replying to the fan, Kapil wrote, “Yeh sach nahi hai rathore sahab aapne pujha isliye bata dia, baki jinhone sach maan hi liya unko explanation dene ka kya
fayda. Just a suggestion as an experienced social media user:- never believe in one sided story in today’s social media world. dhanyawaad.”

For the unversed, a few days ago, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri had claimed that he wasn’t invited to The Kapil Sharma Show as there wasn’t any big star in the film.
Replying to a fan who said they wanted to see the director and the cast on Kapil’s hit show, Vivek tweeted, “They refused to call on their show because we don’t have a big commercial star.”
Coming to Agnihotri’s upcoming flick – The Kashmir Files is based on the true stories of the victims of the Kashmir Genocide, helmed by The Tashkent Files director Vivek Agnihotri.
The movie also boasts of a powerhouse of talent including National award winners Pallavi Joshi, Prakash Belavadi, Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty and other
acclaimed names like Darshan Kumar, Bhasha Sumbali, Chinmay Mandlekar, Puneet Issar, Mrinal Kulkarni, Atul Srivastava, and Prithviraj Sarnaik.
It has been produced by Tej Narayan Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi and Vivek Agnihotri under the Zee Studios, IAmBuddha and Abhishek Agarwal Arts banners.
The gripping drama is all set to release on March 11, 2022.
