Akshay Kumar and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are the next guests on Koffee With Karan 7
New Delhi: After Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan’s Koffee With Karan 7 episode, Akshay Kumar and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are going to star in the forthcoming episode, airing this Thursday. Filmmaker Karan Johar shared a promo of the episode on social media and yet another glimpse of a juicy episode. The clip starts with Akshay carrying Samantha as they make a stylish entry on the show. As Karan prompts Samantha about her marriage, the latter jokingly says, “You are the reason for unhappy marriages.” Reason? She explained: “You have portrayed life to be K3G (Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham). In fact, the reality is KGF.”
During the rapid fire round, which is a ceremonial session on the show, KJo asks Akshay, “If Chris Rock made a joke about Tina (Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna), what would you do?” Here, he referred to the infamous slap between Hollywood star Will Smith and actor-comedian Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards wherein the latter made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith’s wife. Akshay quickly replied by saying, “I would pay for his funeral.”
Both Karan and Samantha burst out laughing. The video also featured Karan asking Samantha about hosting a bachelorette party. “If you were hosting bachelorette party, which two Bollywood hunks would you hire to dance?” Her swift answer: “Ranveer Singh and Ranveer Singh.”
Sharing the video, Karan Johar wrote, “Heart of gold and a dash of sexy & bold – my two new guests on the Koffee couch are bringing the heat this Thursday in an all new episode of Hotstar Specials Koffee With Karan S7 only on Disney+ Hotstar.”
