The prime minister will inaugurate the following projects: the Integrated Office Complex of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) at Dwarka, the World Trade Centre (WTC) at Nauroji Nagar, the General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) Type-II Quarters at Sarojini Nagar, and 1,675 newly constructed flats for the residents of JJ (Jhuggi Jhopri) clusters in Ashok Vihar.
Lastly, the Delhi University will receive the foundation stone for three initiatives, which are valued at ₹600 crore, from Prime Minister Modi. State-of-the-art facilities are available at the Veer Savarkar College in Roshanpura, Najafgarh, the Western Campus in Dwarka, and the Eastern Campus in Surajmal Vihar.
The establishment of Veer Savarkar College, which is named after the right-wing ideologue, has incited a verbal conflict between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress, the opposition party. The BJP has been accused by the Congress of “glorifying those who submitted mercy petitions to the British.”
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a right-wing organization, is the ideological parent of the BJP, which has responded by alleging that the grand old party now identifies itself solely by “insulting great people.”
Additionally, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), a student organization affiliated with the Congress, currently serves as the leader of the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU).
