Every moment gives you a chance to reinvent your life. It just depends on how you take that moment and react to it. Whether you are feeling stuck in life or everything at the moment feels like life is falling apart, you don’t always need a massive change to make a difference. You just need to make small changes in life for the big difference you want to see in the near future. In an interview with HT Lifestyle, Sidhharrth S Kumaar, Life Coach, NumroVani, shared small daily rituals that can add more meaning to your life.
Start your morning with your breath
Sidhharrth highlighted that before the world starts asking something from you, spend a few quiet minutes with your breath. It doesn’t change your schedule. It changes how you walk into it. You can practise 5 minutes of breathing yoga before you begin your day.
Do one thing differently today
Life doesn’t change in a moment. It changes when you start taking small steps for that big change. Your every day cannot be dramatic on its own, but you can add a purpose to your every day. Sidhharrth advises doing at least one thing differently. It could be sitting in a different corner, calling someone you haven’t spoken to in months, walking without your earphones, and so on and so forth. Ordinary days become memorable when you stop repeating them.
Thank your home before you leave
“Most of us thank hotels, temples, and restaurants more often than the place we return to every night,” said Sidhharrth. A silent moment of gratitude for your home—and the people waiting inside it—changes how you see both.
Don’t sleep without looking back
Before you end your day, take a moment to pause and reflect on everything that happened and express gratitude. This moment is not about judging yourself for what went wrong. You can’t be perfect every day, and you can’t be an achiever every day. There will be days when you feel tired, exhausted, or maybe failing. However, the catch is to keep going. At this moment, just ask yourself, “What was worth remembering today?” Some days, the answer is an achievement. Some days it’s a conversation and both count.
