There was heavy security as Nita Ambani entered the iconic luxury textile store, according to videos posted by an Instagram fan page. As she entered the store, she waved to the fans.
According to reports, Nita Ambani shopped for sarees at the boutique, which boasts a 600-year history. In spite of its long history, The House of Angadi came to national attention in 2018 when Deepika Padukone wore a design from the label to her wedding in Italy, which took place in Mangalore. For her Bengaluru reception, Deepika opted for an Angadi saree as well.
