Ashish Vidyarthi got married to Kolkata-based fashion entrepreneur Rupali Barua at 57. The actor, who was previously married to Rajoshi Barua, tied the knot with Rupali in an intimate wedding. Ever since the news broke on social media, fans have been curious to know more about the couple’s love story and how they met.
ASHISH VIDYARTHI SHARES HIS WEDDING STORY
After various pictures and videos from Ashish Vidyarthi and Rupali Barua’s wedding surfaced on social media, the actor shared a video on Instagram where he revealed what transpired for him to get married for the second time. He also mentioned that his relationship with ex-wife Piloo Vidyarthi aka Rajoshi Barua ended on an amicable note.
Vidyarthi, who is popularly known for portraying villainous roles in the Indian cinema, shared in the video how he met his first wife 22 years ago and what led to the split. “Each of our lives is different. Each of us has different challenges, different backgrounds, education, and the way we think. Each of us has different professions. We are all from different social strata, different countries, religions, and beliefs, but one thing which is common is, all of us want to be happy.”
“22 years back, Piloo and I met and we got married. Well, it was an amazing one. We had Arth, who is now 22, he is working. But somehow, for the last few years, Piloo and I discovered that after this beautiful inning that we played together, we felt how we saw the future was slightly different from one another,” the actor said in the video.
While the couple tried a lot to solve the differences, however, all the efforts went in vain. “Differences can be sorted out but it could be in a way that one of us will impose on the other and that will take away from the happiness. And happiness is what we all want, right?” So the estranged couple decided to walk separately but remain amicable and soon they parted ways.
But, who knew that Ashish would have found the love of his life again at 57? Sharing details about his love for Rupali, the senior actor said, “I had a firm belief that I want to get married because I want to travel with somebody. So, I literally get the word out in the universe. I was at that point 55 and I said I want somebody to get married to. And that’s how I met Rupali Barua. “We got chatting, we met a year back and then we discovered something interesting about one another and we thought we could be walking together as husband and wife and therefore, Rupali and I got married. She is 50 and I am 57, not 60, but age doesn’t matter my friend. Each one of us can be happy, whatever the age,” he added.

Earlier, Rupali, a fashion-based entrepreneur in Kolkata had shared her love story. As quoted by TOI, she said, “We met some time ago and decided to take it forward. But both of us wanted our wedding to be a small family affair.” Their wedding was a perfect blend of two cultures.
