Saif Ali Khan and his wife Kareena Kapoor have established specific guidelines for the paparazzi in the wake of his stabbing at his Mumbai residence. Kareena Kapoor’s team convened a meeting with the Mumbai paparazzi on Tuesday, according to a report by the Times of India. This occurs in the context of increased security measures for the Khan family.
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s revised guidelines for paparazzi
The paparazzi have been requested by Saif and Kareena to refrain from taking photographs of their children, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir (Jeh) Ali Khan, according to the reports. Additionally, they have requested that the paparazzi refrain from congregating outside their residence, citing increased security concerns.
Kareena and Saif, according to India Today, have indicated that they are amenable to having their photographs taken at an event.
What transpired with Saif?
Saif was assaulted in the early hours of January 16 at his luxurious Bandra residence in Mumbai. Subsequently, he was transported to a hospital for spinal and plastic surgeries. On January 21, the actor was released. Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad was subsequently identified as the intruder who entered his residence with the intention of committing larceny.
Saif sustained stab wounds to his thoracic spine and other body regions following a violent confrontation with the accused. Following the assault, he was whisked to Lilavati Hospital for immediate treatment. Saif was evacuated from Lilavati Hospital last week following surgery. He greeted the media and acknowledged their presence upon his return to his Bandra residence.

In the hours following the incident, Kareena also released a statement in which she encouraged the media and supporters to respect the family’s privacy during these challenging times. “Our family has faced an extraordinary amount of difficulty today, and we are still grappling with the events that have transpired.” Kareena expressed her respectful and humble request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage as we traverse this challenging period.
She further emphasized the constant scrutiny’s overwhelming nature. “We are grateful for the support and concern you have shown us; however, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a substantial threat to our safety.” I respectfully ask that you honor our boundaries and provide us with the necessary space to recover and function as a family. The statement stated, “I am grateful for your cooperation and comprehension during this delicate period.”
