But what we love the most is the fact that she keeps herself rooted in Indian culture in every possible way. Keeping up with the tradition, she recently gave us a sneak peek into how she celebrated Diwali with husband Nick Jonas, mother Madhu Chopra and daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. She posted a carousel on the photo-sharing app that featured the family posing together, performing Diwali puja and more. But what grabbed our attention was the food they had on the Diwali feast menu. No points for guessing, it was obviously a desi meal.
In fact, in one of the pictures, we could see delicious dhokla, patra, bonda etc. arranged on a three-tier dessert stand. In another picture, we also got a glimpse of the chic table setup for the Diwali feast. It was a minimalist décor with candles and flowers at the centre. Take a look:
