Six courts in Gujarat, including the district courts in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, received bomb threats through emails on Tuesday, leading to evacuation and security checks, PTI reported, citing officials.
The latest case of threat mails comes a day after at least two dozen schools in Ahmedabad received bomb threat emails.
The latest bomb threat mails targeted the district courts in Vadodara, Valsad, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, and Gandhinagar, according to The Indian Express. The threat email was sent to the court’s official address.
According to the report, senior police officials reached the Vadodara district court and evacuated the court premises and began the security check.
On Monday, over 25 schools acorss Ahmedabad received the bomb threat emails, following which the authorities evacuated the campuses. Last month, days before Republic Day, several Ahmedabad schools had received similar bomb threat emails.
