Samsung is gearing up for its second major Unpacked event of the year, scheduled for September 4, 2025, i.e., today. The virtual event, which will be livestreamed on the company’s official website and YouTube channel, is expected to bring a bunch of new devices, with the spotlight set on the Galaxy S25 FE and the Galaxy Tab S11 series.
“Join us on September 4 to discover a more seamless mobile experience across a wider range of devices – from premium AI tablets to the newest member of the Galaxy S25 family,” Samsung’s Galaxy event invite reads. The launch comes just ahead of IFA 2025. It also comes ahead of Apple’s upcoming Awe Dropping iPhone 17 event on September 9.

Samsung has made it abundantly clear that “premium AI tablets” and “the newest member of the Galaxy S25 family” will be the cornerstone of the Galaxy event on September 4. Basis of reports and chronology of these devices, we can expect the devices to be called, the Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy Tab S11 series. The latter is expected to spawn two models: the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
As is often the case, leaks have painted a detailed picture of what to expect from these new devices. The Galaxy S25 FE, a more accessible version of the flagship Galaxy S25, will reportedly come with a 6.7-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. Powering the device could be the Exynos 2400 chipset (some reports have pointed to the Exynos 2400e as well) paired with 8GB of RAM.
In the camera department, leaks suggest a triple setup on the back, including a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide, and another 8-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, a 12-megapixel front-facing camera is expected. The S25 FE is tipped to get a larger 4,900mAh battery and faster 45W wired charging. Wireless charging up to 15W is also expected.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S11 series is expected to offer a significant upgrade to Samsung’s flagship tablet lineup, which is answer to Apple’s Pro iPad models. The Tab S11 Ultra is tipped to have a massive 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Tab S11 come with an 11-inch AMOLED display. Both tablets are said to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset, according to reports, while RAM and storage could go up to 16GB and 1TB respectively.
The tablets are also rumoured to come with a dual-camera setup on the back and support for an upgraded S-Pen, which Samsung is known to bundle for free.
AI, or rather Galaxy AI on an ecosystem level, will be a key focus area with Samsung already teasing “a new standard for effortless productivity through multimodal capabilities.” Whether or not it would roll out new features specific to its new tablets and budget-oriented flagship Galaxy S25 FE remains to be seen.
