Trump linked his political and personal struggles to divine intervention, referencing an attempt on his life last year. “I was saved by God to make America great again,” he told supporters, drawing applause. The shooter was later identified as a local man with no connections to the Biden administration or government critics.
Wildfire claims and call to reclaim Panama Canal
Trump claimed that wildfires in Los Angeles were burning without sufficient response and presented himself as both a “peacemaker” and a strong leader, celebrating his role in brokering peace in Gaza while also pledging to reclaim the Panama Canal. “We’re taking it back!” he declared, hinting at military action if necessary.
